Waste disposal
When organizing waste disposal at TU Dortmund University, a basic distinction is made between commercial waste (e.g. residual waste, bulky waste, paper, files) and special waste (e.g. hazardous waste, batteries, toner, electronic waste).
The disposal of so-called commercial waste and the destruction of files in accordance with data protection regulations is organized in Department 6 by the Department for Commercial Affairs, Central Tasks and Building Maintenance. The disposal of hazardous waste is organized by the Occupational, Environmental and Health Protection Department and carried out in accordance with legal regulations (special verification procedures). Your contact persons are Ms. Klauke and Dr. Voß.
