Or send an e-mail to sonderabfalltu-dortmundde

Procedure

First, the equipment must be deducted from the accounts via Department 5.

You can find the relevant form in the TU Dortmund University service portal.

Subsequently, the local area manager will register for the collection of electronic waste or for the provision of pallet cages using the form for electronic waste available here.

Disposal tours are arranged once a week (usually on Tuesdays).

All appliances must be free of harmful substances such as asbestos, waste oil or chemicals.

If you have any questions in this regard or need to dispose of appliances containing harmful substances (e.g. drying cabinets containing asbestos), please contact the Occupational Safety, Environmental Protection and Health Protection Department. The Occupational, Environmental and Health Protection Department must also be involved in advance in the case of equipment from radioactive areas!

Electronic waste may not be temporarily stored in corridors for fire safety reasons.
